Filter Events

Two types of filter event controls, related to a threshold and timer for measurement rejection, can be set.

Measurement Reject Threshold

The following parameters can be set for MeasurementRejectThreshold:

NOTE: Counters are kept for each measurement type, within each tracker, within each satellite. The counters do not reset at the end of tracking passes but carry over to the next pass.

Measurement Reject Threshold
Parameter Description
NumForWarning A warning message is triggered by ODTK when this number of measurements is rejected by the filter.
NumForAlert An error message is triggered by ODTK when this number of measurements is rejected by the filter.
OnWarning When NumForWarning triggers an error message, the script file specified here is called.
OnReturnFromWarning If NumForWarning triggers an error message but later returns to normal processing, the script file specified here is called.
OnAlert When NumForAlert triggers an error message, the script file specified here is called.

Measurement Accept Timer

The following parameters can be set for MeasurementAcceptTimer:

TimeGapForWarning ODTK triggers a warning message when no measurements are received for the amount of time specified here.
TimeGapForAlert ODTK triggers an alert message when no measurement are received for the amount of time specified here.
OnWarning When TimeGapForWarning triggers a warning, the script file specified here is called.
OnReturnFromWarning If TimeGapForWarning triggers a warning message but later returns to normal processing, the script file specified here is called.
OnAlert When TimeGapForAlert triggers an error message, the script file specified here is called.

Hidden FilterEvent Attributes

The following FilterEvent attributes do not appear in the Object Properties window but are available for scripting:

Tracking strand and measurement type information are displayed when certain scripts are run. For further information, see <ODTK install directory>\ODTK\AppData\Scripts\OnWarning.vbs.
