The Object Browser window -- or, simply, the Browser -- appears as a docked window on the left side of the Workspace when you start ODTK with default settings. Its purpose is to display the objects used in setting up and running OD tasks, and to allow you to access those objects and their properties. The OD objects are displayed in the Browser in a tree reflecting the hierarchical relationships among the objects.
To create a new Object Browser window, select Object Browser from the View menu.
Right click on any object in the Browser window and select Properties from the drop-down menu to view the object's properties in the Object Properties window. You can also display an Object's properties from the Browser window by double clicking on an object or clicking on the object and selecting Object Properties from the View menu.
Right click in the Browser window and select Hide Toolbar/Show Toolbar from the drop-down menu to toggle between the two options.
