Grid Inspector Tool
The Grid Inspector is an object level tool that is available for coverage definition (
) and Figure Of Merit (
) objects.
To open the Grid Inspector tool, highlight the coverage definition or Figure Of Merit object in the Object Browser and select Grid Inspector... from the <object> menu.
For a coverage definition, the Grid Inspector provides in-depth information about raw access data.
For the Figure Of Merit, the Grid Inspector provides detailed quality-related information.Report options available through the Inspector depend on the object selected.
Inspecting Regions and Points
To zero in on an area of interest:
- In the Action field of the Grid Inspector window, specify Select Region or Select Point.
- Click the region or grid point in the graphics window.
The Messages field will display:
- For a coverage definition object: a brief description of the region or point and simple area and access information.
- For a Figure Of Merit object: a brief description of the region or point and, for a point, the static value of the Figure Of Merit for that point.
