Load GPS Constellation

You can insert an entire GPS constellation with one action. From the Insert STK Objects tool, select Satellite on the left and Load GPS Constellation as the method. When you click Insert... or double-click Load GPS Constellation, STK automatically does the following:

1. Loads the GPS almanac(s) specific to your scenario, in accordance with your preferences set in Propagator Defaults. under the menu item Edit > Preferences.
2. Loads all satellites in the almanac(s) as Satellite objects, naming them as gps-XX_svnYY, where XX is the GPS PRN number from the almanac and YY is the GPS Satellite Vehicle Number from the almanac.
3. Creates a GPS Constellation object named GPSConstellation and assigns all the GPS Satellite objects to the Constellation object.
