File Menu

The Ansys Orbit Determination Tool Kit (ODTK^®) application File menu includes the following items:

File Menu
Item	Description
New...	Creates a new ODTK scenario in one of two ways: If the Use "New Scenario" wizard when creating Scenarios check box is selected in Edit > Preferences > General, when you click this icon the New Scenario dialog box appears. You can enter a name (or keep the default), enter a description of the scenario, and keep or modify the default directory location. Click OK to save the scenario and close the dialog box. If the Use "New Scenario" wizard when creating Scenarios check box is not selected, clicking this icon triggers the ODTK application to simply create an ODTK Scenario object in the Object Browser.
Open...	Use this to open existing scenarios. When you select this option, the Open dialog box appears. Look through your directories, select a file with the extension *.sco, and click Open. If you generated an ODTK scenario using application version 7.X, you can load this directly into application version 13.0. If you generated a scenario in application version 6.X, you must first load the scenario into version 7.10 following necessary migration guides, save it, and then load this newly saved scenario into version 13.0.
Close	Closes the current ODTK scenario.
Save	Saves the current scenario to its present path and filename.
Save As...	Saves the current scenario to a specified path and file name. This item displays a file selection window in which you can enter or browse for the desired path and filename.
Set as Default	For the object selected in the Object Browser (including the scenario object), this sets its properties as default properties for newly created objects of the same class.
Import	Imports one or more previously saved objects and attach them to the object selected in the Object Browser. This option is not available if the object selected in the Browser is not capable of having subobjects.
Export	Exports the object or objects currently selected in the Object Browser to a specified path and filename. If the selected object(s) have subobjects, you can choose to either export the object(s) alone or export them with their subobjects.
Print	Prints the currently selected section of the workspace to the selected printing device.
(previously saved scenarios)	Scenarios you have most recently saved appear in this area of the File menu. To open one of these scenarios, click its name.
Exit	Exits the ODTK application.

File menu items not included in the above table, to the extent they are implemented in the current version of the ODTK application, operate as in other Windows applications.
