Chain 2D Graphics

On the Attributes page you can set the following 2D Graphics properties for a chain:

Category	Option	Description
Static Graphics	Show	If this checkbox is selected, the 2D Graphics window displays complete chain access for the objects in the chain, based on applicable time and object constraints. Accesses among chain objects are displayed as thick lines that overlay the ground tracks.
	Line Width	Select the width of the line that overlays the ground track in the 2D Graphics window.
	Color	Select the color in which chain graphics are to be displayed.
Animation Graphics	Show Highlight	If this checkbox is selected, access is displayed in bold print during animation. A box appears around each object during access.
	Show Line	If this checkbox is selected, a line appears on the 2D Graphics window between the objects in the chain to show when they are accessible to each other during animation.
	Show Direction	If this checkbox is selected, each access line is numbered to show the sequence of the links between the objects in the chain.
	Width	Specify the width of the line.
	Color	Choose the color in which access graphics are to be displayed during animation.

If an object is part of more than one chain, the line between that object and other objects in the chains are displayed in multicolored segments. If one of the objects in a chain is a constellation, all possible paths are displayed. To identify the chain that is used in access calculations, click the line in the 2D Graphics window to display the name of the chain at the bottom of the window, and select the chain in the Object Browser. If the line is multicolored, click the segment of interest to determine which chains use the link.

Constellation Graphics

To hide graphics for objects in a constellation, so that they are not displayed in the 2D Graphics window, use the Hide Graphics tool. Right-click the constellation of interest in the Object Browser, then select Hide Graphics from the Constellation menu. Graphics for each object in the constellation are no longer displayed in the 2D Graphics window, but access calculations remain available.

To restore hidden constellation graphics, right-click the constellation of interest in the Object Browser, then select Restore Graphics from the Constellation menu.
