Monostatic Radar
A Monostatic radar uses a common antenna for both transmitting and receiving. The following can be set for the Monostatic Radar model:
Radar Mode
One of the following modes:
- Search/Track. A Search/Track radar detects and tracks point targets.
- SAR. A Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) achieves high resolution in the cross-range dimension by taking advantage of the motion of the vehicle carrying the radar to synthesize the effect of a large antenna aperture.
- RAE. The Radar Advanced Environment (RAE) introduces ground reflectivity as a contributing factor in radar performance assessments. If STK RAE help is installed, you can click RAE for more information.
