Import Facility Location

Use the Import Facility Location tool to search for known facilities or ground station networks and import the location of one to define the site of a launch segment. Select the database you want to search and define the search criteria.

Search Criteria	Description
Database	Displays the name of the default database. Use the ellipsis (...) button to browse to a different database.
Site Name	The name of the facility for which you want to search.
Network	The type of network of which the object is part, such as USAF.
Latitude: Min/Max	The minimum and/or maximum search limits for latitude.
Longitude: Min/Max	The minimum and/or maximum search limits for longitude.
Altitude: Min/Max	The minimum and/or maximum search limits for altitude.

Click Search to retrieve a list of matching facilities, which will be displayed in a table with the following fields:

Field	Description
Site Name	The name of the facility.
Network	The type of network of which the object is part, such as USAF.
Latitude	The facility's latitude in degrees.
Longitude	The facility's longitude in degrees.
Altitude	The facility's altitude in meters.

Select a facility from the list and click OK to populate the site information for the launch segment with that facility's location. Click Close to return to the launch segment window without importing facility data.
