You can select how fast a model moves in frames per second and how many triangles are drawn per second by selecting Performance... from the Edit menu.
Use the Frames field, to specify the number of frames you wish to use in the performance test. The higher the number of frames tested, the more accurate the outcome. Once MDE has run through the requested number of frames, a message appears directly beneath the Frames field that identifies the speed of the model in frames per second and the number of triangles drawn per second.
The Performance Test option can be useful when trying to determine how much complexity is affecting performance.
