GetDirectoryDescription
This command was deprecated in STK 9, it should no longer be used. This command has been replaced by the GetDirectory command.
The GetDefaultDir command returns a message that identifies the path to the current default directory. The default directory is the directory in which STK looks first to save and retrieve files. By default, STK saves objects to the user directory specified during install.
If you insert an object from or save to a different directory using the STK graphical user interface (GUI), the current STK directory becomes the last directory you accessed, however the value returned by the GetDefaultDir command will not change.
Example
To view your current directory path:
GetDefaultDir /
ReturnMessage
Connect returns a message that contains your database path, as illustrated in the following example:ACK
