Defining Attitude Profiles
The Attitude page provides three different ways to define the attitude profile for a vehicle:
Standard Attitude Profiles
The Standard attitude option lets you define a vehicle's attitude profile using one or more of the following attitude types:
Attitude Type | Description |
---|---|
Basic | Select one of the available predefined attitude types and specify any applicable parameters. |
Target Pointing | Define targeted attitudes that override the Basic attitude during selected intervals. |
Precomputed | Define an attitude profile using an external file; this profile overrides any Target Pointing or Basic attitude that would otherwise apply during the file's time period. For a satellite, you can also generate an attitude file on the basis of the current attitude. |
Real Time Attitude Data
The Real Time option lets you define the vehicle's attitude profile using near-real time attitude data supplied via Connect.
Multi Segment Attitude Profiles
The Multi Segment option allows you to construct a sequence of attitude profiles using basic, targeted and file-based attitude segments.
