Return to Plot Options Menu
The Layout tab is used to control global layout options for the overall plot area. The Layout tab has two sub-tabs: General and Margins.
Some controls only appear for certain plots or with certain options selected.

General
| Control Name | Use/Options |

| Global Font | Sets the global font options for the plot. Note that settings here will override any settings made in the Series tab.
|
| Title Font | Set the global title font for the plot. Note that settings here will override any settings made in the Series tab.
|
| Autosize | Determines if the plot will autosize to fit the window as the window is resized.
|
| Width | Sets the width of the plot area.
|
| Height | Sets the height of the plot area.
|
| Scene Aspect Mode | Sets how the axes are drawn.
|
| Aspect Ratio [x,y,z] | Sets the aspect ratio in a 3D plot. This setting is used with "Manual" in the Scene Aspect Mode field. Axes are drawn in proportion to these [x,y,z] settings. |
| Scene color | Sets the background color of the scene area.
|
| Plot Color | Sets the background color of the plot area.
|
| Format | Sets the number format in the plot area:

Margins
The Margins tab is used to set global options on the plot for margins and plot behavior.
Some controls only appear for certain plots or with certain options selected.
| Control Name | Use/Options |

| Margin Color | Sets the color for the plot area margins.
|
| Margins | Sets the margin width around the plot area. Bounds for all fields are between 0 and 1,000.
|
| Auto Expand | Sets whether the margins will automatically increase based on the size of the plot or other elements, regardless of the margin size that was set.
|
| Plot Padding | Sets the padding around the plot area.
