Standard Installation and Upgrade Instructions
Read the steps below before downloading STK. If you encounter issues during this process, please contact please contact AGI Technical Support.
Pre-requisites
Before proceeding, ensure that:

You have access to the AGI downloads page or the STK DVD

You have an agi.com account. If you do not already have an account, please first create an agi.com account.

You have administrative permissions to install software on your computer
Installing STK
- Download your desired STK product or insert the applicable STK DVD(s) into your computer.
- If installing from a DVD and AutoRun is not enabled, run install.exe. Otherwise, skip to the next step.
- Review the ReadMe file for additional instructions on extracting the .zip folder and finding the install.exe file.
- Complete the steps in the Product Installer. The install wizard will prompt you through installing the software you have selected. Upon completing the steps in the install wizard, you are returned to the Product Installer.
- Click if you want to verify that your computer can run STK's 3D graphics.
- Click to close the Product Installer.
STK Premium and STK Enterprise require mulptiple downloads or DVDs.
Upgrading STK
If you currently have STK installed, you may upgrade to a newer version of STK. by following the instructions in the Installing STK section in this topic.
When upgrading to a newer version of STK, the installation wizard will detect any STK products that you already have installed and those products will be selected in the wizard. These products cannot be unselected as they will be upgraded along with STK. The installation wizard will enable you to select additional products that were not previously installed.
