ITU-R P618-13 Rain Model

This ITU rain model is based on the most recent revision of ITU recommendation ITU-R P618. This model supersedes all previous releases of the rain model.

Parameter	Description
Surface Temperature	Enter a surface temperature for the model to use. This is only available if you do not select the Enable ITU-R P.1510 for Surface Temperature check box.
Enable ITU-R P.1510 for Surface Temperature	If you select this check box, you then choose one of the following model options: Use Annual Average - Select the check box. Month - Choose a specific month from the shortcut menu; the model will apply the monthly average for that month.
Enable Cross Polarization Loss	If you select this check box, the model will include the effect of depolarization of a communications link due to rain. This option is available only for releases 10, 12, and 13 of the P618 model.
