Coast RPO Sequence
The Coast RPO sequence propagates a satellite until it reaches one of three stopping conditions:
- duration end
- number of revolutions reaches a limit
- other conditions (for example, periapsis)
As a default, Astrogator uses the "Earth HPOP Default v10" propagator. You can override this by modifying the propagate segment's propagator.
The following picture shows a coast sequence which free-propagates from an initial position of +500m on the RBar for one revolution:

Sequence parameters
Option | Description |
---|---|
Coast_Definition | Select the mechanism for terminating the coast from a drop-down menu. The options are:
|
Coast_Duration | Specify the duration of the propagate segment. If Coast_Definition is Duration, you need to enter a value here. |
Coast_Revs | Specify the number of revolutions to propagate if Coast_Definition is Revs. Enter as a double. |
Coast_Condition | Specify the orbit event to propagate to if Coast_Definition is Condition. The possible conditions are:
