Exit GEO RPO mission
The Exit GEO RPO mission sequence initiates a circular drifting GEO orbit, using two maneuvers, from the current GEO orbit. You can specify the desired drift rate, which can be either westward (negative drift rates) or eastward (positive drift rates). You are responsible to ensure flight safety during the exit sequence.
Generally, if exiting westward, the chase satellite should be above the target before initiating the sequence. Alternatively, if exiting eastward, the chase satellite should be below the target before initiating the sequence. The picture shows a westward drift rate.
