Match Plane Single Burn RPO Sequence
This sequence matches the chase satellite’s orbit plane to the target satellite’s orbit plane using a single maneuver executed when the chase satellite crosses the target satellite’s orbit plane. The sequence checks both node crossings of the target plane, and the maneuver occurs on the node crossing that results in the lowest Delta-V to match orbit planes.
The following picture shows the matching of planes between the chase and the target satellite, where the initial plane difference was about 2 degrees.
