RBar Hop RPO Sequence
The RBar Hop sequence creates a “hop” for the chase satellite from one RBar position to final RBar position. It uses half of a Teardrop RPO sequence. It generates an initial maneuver to start the hop and then a second maneuver to stop all relative motion once it arrives at the final RBar position. The teardrop condition determines the transfer time of the RBar hop. The initial position must be on the RBar; otherwise, the sequence issues an error message and terminates execution.
The following picture shows an RBar hop from -1000 m on the RBar to -50 meters on the RBar. The duration is 4 hours and 35 minutes, with a total Delta-V of 18 cm/sec.
