VBar Hop RPO Sequence
The VBar Hop RPO sequence creates a “hop” for the chase satellite to go from one VBar position to a final VBar position. The method for the hop is to use half of an NMC RPO sequence. The initial maneuver starts the hop, and a second maneuver stops all relative motion upon arrival at the final VBar position. The transfer time of the VBar hop is half of a revolution (since it is half of an NMC). The initial position must be on the VBar or else the sequence will issue an error message and stop.
If there are significant differential forces between the chase and target satellites, you should use the Hop or Hop_MinDV sequences, since the differential forces will make the VBar hop impossible to perform.
The following picture shows a VBar hop from -500 meters on the VBar to +100 meters on the VBar.
