The 2D Graphics Window

The 2D Graphics window graphically displays information about your scenario. Use the toolbars located at the top of the STK workspace to control animation and zooming. Use the status bar located along the bottom of the STK workspace to check the cursor's latitude and longitude position, the name of the selected object, the map resolution, the scenario time step, and the current scenario time. The 2D Graphics window has its own properties that enable you to specify colors, geographic features, display format, latitude/longitude line spacing, etc. In addition, you can open multiple 2D Graphics windows for a single scenario with different display options to refine your analysis.

You can right mouse click an object or ground/orbit track in the 2D Graphics window to display a menu that enables you easy access to that object's properties or tools.

You can left mouse click an object's graphics to display the object's name in the status bar. This feature is useful when animating a scenario with many objects whose labels are turned OFF.

With the 2D Graphics Window active you can select Copy from the Edit menu to copy an image of the contents of the window to the clipboard for use in other programs.
