SGP4 Advanced Settings

Set the one-point propagation details for the SGP4 satellite.

Field Description
Use SGP4 1-Point Interpolation Enables the use of SGP4 one-point interpolation. When disabled, position and velocity at time values that are not on time steps of the propagation are found using Lagrange interpolation of the propagated time steps. When enabled, the SGP4 algorithm is used to produce position and velocity at all requested time values, just like how the propagated ephemeris was created. Lagrange interpolation of the propagated time steps is not used.
Use SGP4 1-Point Validation This triggers STK to validate that the SGP4 routine computes a good state before accepting the ephemeris. If you wish to properly model decaying TLEs, you should turn this on.
Suppress SGP4 1-Point Interpolation Warning When using one-point interpolation, STK does not display a warning when an error occurs. SGP4 errors can occur for decaying TLEs.

Mode

If you have installed additional SGP4 routines, then a selector appears to enable you to choose which routine to use. Contact customer support for an FAQ article containing installation instructions. If the only routine available is the STK default CSSI routine, then the selector will not appear.
