Ground Ellipses

The 2D Graphics Ground Ellipses page enables you to set the display graphics for a ellipse set defined on the Basic Ground Ellipse page for vehicles.

If the ground ellipses added on a vehicle's Basic Ground Ellipses Properties page are not displayed on the 2D Graphics Ground Ellipses properties page, clicking OK to close the properties browser and then reopening it for the vehicle will cause the ground ellipses to be displayed on the 2D Graphics Ground Ellipses properties page.

For each ellipse set, you can define the following display graphics:

Field	Description
Static GFX	When static graphics are enabled, all ellipses are displayed in the graphics windows.
Interpolate	Toggles the interpolation between time points or the last known size and orientation for dynamic graphics.
Dynamic Gfx	When dynamic graphics are enabled, an animation ellipse is interpolated between all specified ellipses in the ellipse set for the current animation time, linearly interpolating the animation ellipses semi-major, semi-minor, and bearing values. The position of the animation ellipse is interpolated along the ground on the great arc between the two ellipses with the closest times to the animation time.
Show Name	Displays the name of the ellipse set at the center of each ellipse in the ellipse set.
Show Center	Displays the point marker for each ellipse in the ellipse set.
Color	Specifies the color of the ellipse set name and ellipse graphics for all ellipses in the set.
Linewidth	Specifies the width of the line.
