Ordering Overlay Images

Use the blue Up and Down arrows to arrange the list of images in the overlay table. Images should be arranged in viewing order from top to bottom. If more than one image can be displayed at a location in the 3D graphics window, the image that is further up the list is displayed on top of the image further down in the list.

Positioning an Overlay Image

To position an image:

  1. Specify the horizontal (X Origin) and vertical (Y Origin) attach points. The horizontal (X Origin) attach point can be Left, Right, Center, or Banner; the vertical (Y Origin) attach point can be Bottom, Top, Center, or Banner. Center indicates the middle of the last line in either direction, while Banner indicates that the image is to be stretched along the chosen axis.
  2. Specify the offsets (X,Y) from those starting points to determine the true position of the image. For example, to display an image near the bottom left of the 3D graphics window, specify a horizontal attach position of Left and a vertical attach position of Bottom. To offset that value slightly so that the image is not quite in the corner, enter a value of 20, 20 for the X and Y values.
