Annotation

The Text Annotation window enables you to configure textual data for display on the 3D window. You can control the position, color and size of the data displayed.

Follow these instructions to add textual data to your 3D display.

  1. Enter the name and text for your annotation. The text should be entered exactly as you wish it to appear on the 3D display.
  2. In the Position section of the window you can set where in the 3D screen you wish the annotation to be displayed.
  3. In the Attributes section of the window, select the color and font size for the annotation.
  4. Use the Intervals section of the window to define the intervals during which the annotations should display.
    1. Click Add to add a new interval to the list.
      • Double-click the Start or Stop columns to configure the time interval.
    2. To load interval data from an external file, click Load... and choose an interval list file (*.int). Interval times in the file are then used as the display times for the annotation.
    3. To import STK Analysis Workbench Time Tool interval component data, click Import... and select or create a time interval component. The imported component's interval times are then used as the display times for the annotation.
    4. To remove an interval time, select the interval entry and click Remove.
    5. Use Remove All to delete all the intervals in the table.
  5. Click OK to save your changes and return to the Properties Browser.
