You can set the display of the Contours Legend by clicking Layout... in the Contours Legend window. Use the Legend Layout window to adjust the width of the color bands, and the order in which the coverage levels are presented (maximum to minimum or vice versa).
Color Options
Choose the color to display as the background of the legend as well as the color of any titles or other text that display as part of the legend.
Text Options
Title. The text you wish to appear at the top of the contours legend.
Number of Decimal Digits. The number of digits that should be displayed to the right of the decimal point for real numbers.
Floating Point Format. Choices are Floating Point, Scientific (e), Scientific (E).
Range Color Options
The options available in this determine the height and width of the legend. The availability of these fields depends on the Order you choose in the Order pane.
Level Order. Choose whether the Contours Legend should display vertically or horizontally in the 2D Graphics window and whether contour levels should appear in ascending or descending order.
Maximum Color Squares per Row/Column. The number of color bands you wish to appear in one row/column (depending on the Order you choose).
Color Square Width/Height. The width (in pixels) of individual color bands.
Color Square Height. The height (in pixels) of individual color bands.
