SCHED: NewTask

Format

SCHED / NewTask '<NewTaskName>'

Description

The SCHED NewTask Connect command creates a new task named NewTaskName in the active schedule. This command can accept any parameter values that EditTask command can accept. The command will be rejected if a task with this name already exists.

Parameters

  • NewTaskName: The parameter is a string of text in single quotes of the desired task name.

Examples

Creates a new task named DemoTask in the active schedule
SCHED / NewTask 'DemoTask'

Return Message

If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgment message.
