ConFile

Get commands from a file

Syntax

ConFile <ApplicationPath> "<FilePath>"

Description

Connect establishes a temporary connection to the file specified in the <FilePath>. Once commands in that file have been executed, Connect terminates the connection to that file. Within command files, blank lines and lines beginning with a pound sign (#) are ignored.

Examples

To direct Connect to execute commands contained in the CommandList file:

ConFile / "C:\stk\User\Connect\commandList"

Return message

If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgment message. In addition, an output file is created and save to the same directory in which the input file resides. The output file is named the same as the input file but has a .out extension. It contains the results of commands in the input file that return data.
