Graphics Persist
Control the graphical display of the persistence of a sensor's footprint
Syntax
Graphics <SensorObjectPath> Persist {PersistOptions}
Description
The Graphics Persist command enables you to control the graphical display of the persistence of a sensor's footprint. Persistence is used to display sensor footprints for a specified period of time so that you can quickly and easily determine whether coverage requirements are being met.
Using this command will effect the display of sensor persistence in both the 2D and 3D windows.
The following table describes the options available for this command.
{PersistOptions} | Description |
---|---|
Time <Value> | Enter the time in seconds, which is the length of time the sensor's footprint remains visible on the Map during animation. |
Forward {On | Off} | If On then persistence is displayed only when animating in the forward direction. If Off then persistence is displayed when animation is forward or backward. Default value is Off. |
Fill {On | Off} | Turn on or off the filling of all persisting sensor footprints. Default value is On. To see the fill in persistence footprints, the Sensor's Fill option must also be enabled. See the Graphics Fill (Sensor) command. |
UseDisplayTimesForOnOff {On | Off} | Specify whether the sensor persistence footprints will use the sensor's display times. The default value is Off, in which case the persistence footprints will continue to be displayed even when the sensor projection is not displayed due to the sensor's display times. |
Examples
To set the persistence for the Shuttle's Horizon sensor at one hour:
To set Sensor1 to show Persistence in the forward direction and to show persistence for 240.0 seconds:
To set Sensor2 to use persistence of 60 seconds and to show Persistence in the forward direction only, and show all persisting footprints as filled:
