Set a constraint for a planet or star

Syntax

SetConstraint <ObjectPath> {ConstraintName} {State}

Related commands

Description

Caution should be exercised when turning a constraint Off, in that any previously set constraint values may be lost. These cannot be recovered when the constraint is subsequently turned On.

You can only set one constraint with each SetConstraint command.

Basic constraints

LineOfSight is the only basic constraint available for planets and stars. {State} can be On or Off.

Analysis Workbench constraints

Analysis Workbench constraints for planets and stars are identical to that of vehicles, except that the CrdnCondition constraint is not valid for Stars. Visit Connect help for the SetConstraint (Vehicles) command for a complete list of valid Analysis Workbench constraints.

Examples

To set the LineOfSight constraint On for Jupiter:

SetConstraint */Planet/Jupiter LineOfSight On
