Event Log
The Event Log, located at the bottom of the Astro Scheduler Engine Main Display, retains useful or important information while Astro Scheduler Engine is being used.
The Astro Scheduler Engine log is filled with time-tagged entries that supplies the reader with information about important events that have occurred while using Astro Scheduler Engine. There are two basic types of information that is stored in the log.
- Error or warning messages that have been reported to the user
- Acknowledgment and error messages for any API commands that have been sent to Astro Scheduler Engine
This information is often useful for tracking down the source of errors when using Astro Scheduler Engine.
Event Log
All events are also logged to an event log file. This file will reside in the <User Directory>\Events Folder. The event log file will be named <MACHINE_NAME>-eventLog.txt. New events will be appended to this file. Each day an archive file will be made with the name <MACHINE_NAME>-eventLog.txt.YYYY-MM-DD
