Anchor Point Lighting AER
Angle and range data describing the apparent position vector of the Sun relative to the anchor point. The data is reported in the line target's Local horizontal frame. This frame has the Z axis aligned with the inward surface normal direction (minus Z is up) and the X axis constrained toward the local north direction.Available for these objects: LineTarget
Type: Time-varying data.

Name | Dimension | Type | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Time | Date | Real Number or Text | Time. |
Azimuth | Longitude | Real Number or Text | Dihedral angle between north vector and velocity vector about the detic nadir vector. The velocity vector is the velocity of the object, as observed in the object's central body fixed coordinate system. |
Elevation | Angle | Real Number or Text | Angle between the velocity vector and the local horizontal plane. The velocity vector is the velocity of the object, as observed in the object's central body fixed coordinate system. |
Range | Distance | Real Number | The range (i.e., distance between the primary and secondary object) at the given time. |
