Angle Between
Reports certain data as a function of time, for each strand access interval that overlaps with the requested report time intervals. The report is organized into sub-sections, where each subsection corresponds to a three object sub-strand of strands that complete the chain. If the data element "Strand Name" is not requested, then the sub-sections will be titled using the strand name and the three object sub-strand being reported. The report only computes data for strands consisting of at least three objects.
Available for these objects: Chain
Type: Time-varying data. Intended to be used only with elements from this same data provider.

Name | Description |
---|---|
Granularity Determined | The time steps used to report the data depend on the time step specified for the report. |
Three Points Minimum | The time steps used to report the data depend on the time step specified for the report. However, the time step may be adjusted for each interval considered to guarantee that at least three time points will be reported. |
Data Provider Elements
Name | Dimension | Type | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Time | Date | Real Number or Text | Time. |
Angle | Angle | Real Number or Text | The angle, made from the locations of three objects sub-strand, at the given time. |
Angular Rate | AngleRate | Real Number | The rate of change of the angle at the given time. |
Range 1 | Distance | Real Number | The range between the first and second objects in the sub-strand at the given time. |
Range 2 | Distance | Real Number | The range between the second and third objects in the sub-strand at the given time. |
Strand Name | Unitless | Text | The strand name and the three object sub-strand being reported. |
Diff Range | Distance | Real Number | The difference between the two range values. |
Pass Number 1 | Unitless | Real Number | The pass number for the first object of the sub-strand at the given time. If the object cannot compute pass numbers, then the value will be -1.0. |
Pass Number 2 | Unitless | Real Number | The pass number for the second object of the sub-strand at the given time. If the object cannot compute pass numbers, then the value will be -1.0. |
Pass Number 3 | Unitless | Real Number | The pass number for the third object of the sub-strand at the given time. If the object cannot compute pass numbers, then the value will be -1.0. |
Time Uncertainty at Angle | Time | Real Number | The angle uncertainty divided by the angular rate, if the Chain is computed using a min or max angle criterion. This value, when computed at the time in which the Chain angle criterion is met, is the uncertainty in the time of that event happening. |
Angle Uncertainty | Angle | Real Number or Text | The uncertainty in the angle, computed using each object's covariance information (if available). |
Range 1 Uncertainty | Distance | Real Number | The uncertainty in the range between the first and second objects, computed using each object's covariance information (if available). |
Range 2 Uncertainty | Distance | Real Number | The uncertainty in the range between the second and third objects, computed using each object's covariance information (if available). |
Pass Number Object 1 | Unitless | Real Number or Text | The pass number for the first object. |
Pass Number Object 2 | Unitless | Real Number or Text | The pass number for the second object. |
Pass Number Object 3 | Unitless | Real Number or Text | The pass number for the third object. |
