Attitude Segment Quaternions
The attitude quaternion and angular velocity of the vehicle's body axes computed with respect to the vehicle's central body inertial coordinate system. Additionally, provides information on the attitude segment being used at the given time. The quaternion components q1, q2, and q3 are the vector components of the quaternion; q4 is the scalar part. The angular velocity is computed as observed from the inertial frame and resolved into body components.Available for these objects: Satellite

Time | Date | Real Number or Text | Time. |
q1 | Unitless | Real Number | First element of quaternion (and of its vector part) representing the orientation between the body and Inertial axes. |
q2 | Unitless | Real Number | Second element of quaternion (and of its vector part) representing the orientation between the body and Inertial axes. |
q3 | Unitless | Real Number | Third element of quaternion (and of its vector part) representing the orientation between the body and Inertial axes. |
q4 | Unitless | Real Number | Fourth element of quaternion (its scalar part) representing the orientation between the body and Inertial axes. |
wx | AngleRate | Real Number | The X component of the angular velocity vector, expressed in body axes. The angular velocity measures the rate of change of the body axes with respect to the Inertial axes of the object's central body. |
wy | AngleRate | Real Number | The Y component of the angular velocity vector, expressed in body axes. The angular velocity measures the rate of change of the body axes with respect to the Inertial axes of the object's central body. |
wz | AngleRate | Real Number | The Z component of the angular velocity vector, expressed in body axes. The angular velocity measures the rate of change of the body axes with respect to the Inertial axes of the object's central body. |
w mag | AngleRate | Real Number | Magnitude of the angular velocity vector. The angular velocity measures the rate of change of the body axes with respect to the Inertial axes of the object's central body. |
RightAscension of w | Longitude | Real Number or Text | Right ascension of the angular velocity vector, i.e., the signed angle between the x-axis of the body axes and the projection of the angular velocity vector onto the xy-plane of the body axes. |
Declination of w | Angle | Real Number or Text | Declination of the angular velocity vector, i.e., the signed angle between the angular velocity vector and its projection onto the xy-plane of the Body axes. |
