Azimuth Elevation Mask Variants | Data Provider Elements

Azimuth Elevation Mask

The azimuth and maximum elevation angles of the points of the Az El Mask. The maximum elevation angle is the maximum elevation angle of the line of sight from the object to any terrain along that azimuth. Any object whose elevation is above the maximum elevation is not obstructed by terrain along that azimuth. Objects whose elevation is below the maximum elevation may or may not be obstructed, depending upon their distance from the object. The Az El Mask itself contains a table of the elevation as a function of distance from the object along each azimuth.
