Azimuth Elevation Mask Variants | Data Provider Elements
Azimuth Elevation Mask
The obscuration mask data for the object. The data may have been derived from a body mask. Azimuth and elevation are measured in the sensor's body frame; however, the sensor may be set to use either the x-axis, y-axis, or z-axis as the reference normal direction (i.e., the primary boresight axis) to the reference plane that is used to measure these angles.Data Provider Variant: Sensor

Name | Dimension | Type | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Point Number | Unitless | Integer | Point number. |
Azimuth | Longitude | Real Number or Text | The angle about the reference normal direction, measured in the sensor's body frame, of the line-of-sight direction. The angle increases in the counter-clockwise direction about the reference normal direction. |
Elevation | Angle | Real Number or Text | The angle that the line-of-sight direction makes with the reference plane, positive toward the reference normal direction when the sensor's parent is a vehicle and positive opposite the reference normal direction when the sensor's parent is a Facility, Target or Place. |
