Grid Point Locations

Geodetic positions of grid points and the finite areas represented by the grid points. Each grid point is centered in a latitude/longitude rectangle where the size of the rectangle is based on the requested grid resolution.

Data Provider Elements

Latitude	Latitude	Real Number or Text	The detic latitude (i.e., angle between the detic subpoint's surface normal vector and the XY plane.).
Longitude	Longitude	Real Number or Text	The detic longitude (i.e., angle from the X-axis locating the projection of the detic subpoint's surface normal vector onto the XY plane.) Longitude increases in the direction found using the right-hand rule about the Z-axis.
Altitude	Distance	Real Number	The altitude value (i.e., magnitude of the relative position vector between the object and its detic subpoint).
Altitude above terrain	Distance	Real Number	The altitude above terrain (i.e., the difference between Altitude of the grid location and the height of the terrain at the same altitude and longitude).
Altitude above MSL	Distance	Real Number	The altitude above mean sea level. The difference between the altitude and the height of mean sea level, measured from the object's central body surface along the surface normal through the detic subpoint.
Altitude above ground	Distance	Real Number	The altitude above ground level. The difference between the altitude of the grid point and the ground altitude (as specified by the CoverageDefn) at the grid point's location.
Area	Area	Real Number	Model area.
Latitude Span	Latitude	Real Number or Text	The width of the latitude/longitude rectangle containing the grid point.
Longitude Span	Longitude	Real Number or Text	The height of the latitude/longitude rectangle containing the grid point.
Point Number	Unitless	Integer	Point number.
Visible Assets By Name	Unitless	Text	Lists the positions of the grid points by LLA and the name of each asset visible to those points.
Visible Assets By Full Name	Unitless	Text	Lists the positions of the grid points by LLA and the full name of each asset visible to those points.
UTM Zone	Unitless	Text	The UTM Zone character indicator for the detic subpoint. Available only when the central body is Earth.
UTM Easting	Distance	Real Number	The easting value within the UTM zone for the detic subpoint. Available only when the central body is Earth.
UTM Northing	Distance	Real Number	The northing value within the UTM zone for the detic subpoint. Available only when the central body is Earth.
MGRS Cell	Unitless	Text	The MGRS (Military Grid Reference System) code for the cell area containing the detic subpoint. Available only when the central body is Earth.
