Aviator Plugin Tools
STK's Aviator capability includes several plugin tools that can be accessed by right-clicking on the aircraft object in the Object Browser and expanding the Aircraft Plugins sub-menu.
- Import and Export Flight Package
- Time / Fuel Ruler
- Build Flight Range Area Targets
- Generate TSPI
- Air Rendezvous Simulation Tool
Import and Export Flight Package
The Import Flight Package and Export Flight Package plugins can be used to load a flight package file to define the aircraft's mission, or to save the currently defined mission as a flight package file. A flight package is a file that contains an entire Aviator mission.
The Import Flight Package plugin is available to all aircraft objects, allowing you to load a flight package without needing to first set the aircraft's propagator to Aviator.
Generate TSPI
The Generate TSPI plugin creates a tab delimited text file with a .tspi extension that includes latitude, longitude, altitude, true airspeed, heading, pitch, and roll data for the currently defined mission. You can use the drop-down menus in the plugin window to define the units that will be used in the file. The time format is elapsed time, beginning at 0 and incrementing at the Time Step value that you define. Click Write File ... to create the .tspi file, and Close to dismiss the plugin window.
