3D Tiles
Use the 3D Tiles properties page to add or remove 3D tilesets for display in the 3D Graphics window. See the 3D Tiles Overview topic page for more information on 3D tiles.
Adding a 3D tileset for analysis
You can add a 3D tileset to your scenario for analysis purposes by clicking
. The Add 3D Tilesets for Analysis dialog box will appear.On the left side of the dialog box, select the location (source) of the files:
- Local Files: Select this option for tilesets that reside on your local machine and network. Click the ellipsis button (
) in the Path field to browse to and select a file to add to the list.
- Hosted: Select this option for tilesets hosted on servers you registered through Data Services. Go to the Server drop-down list and select a 3D tileset server.
- When you select the Geospatial Content Server, or if the dialog box defaults to this option, the Log In: dialog box will appear. You will need to enter your credentials to sign in to the server.
The public GCS server has been deactivated. If you have a local instance of GCS, it can still be used.
In accordance with the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service and Map Tile API Policies, the Google Maps 3D tileset is not available for analysis purposes.
When you are finished adding files to the list, select the check box next to each file you wish to use for analysis and click
to add the selected files to the scenario properties.Applying a filter
In the Add 3D Tilesets for Analysis dialog box, click Advanced Filter () to narrow the selection of tilesets. In the Filter Displayed 3D Tilesets dialog box, click Add Filter (
) to add one or more filter parameters.
Click Delete () to remove a filter parameter.
Click
to filter the available files.Filter parameters require a Property, comparison type (Operator), and Value (for example, Name Equals Callisto.jp2). The "AND" operator combines all the individual filter parameters in the list.
