Geospatial Content Server
In any aerospace and defense organization requiring disparate groups to work in a collaborative environment, there is a need for shared access to consistent geospatial data. Not only will everyone in the organization benefit from knowing that all analysis is based on the same data, they will also benefit from a rich presentation layer when conveying results.
Geospatial Content Server (GCS) is a data management system that provides a comprehensive enterprise solution for hosting, processing, and serving terrain, imagery, and other heterogeneous 3D data. GCS provides a central data repository that can be accessed through the STK Globe Manager. Refer to the Globe Manager Hierarchy Window page for more information about using GCS in the Globe Manager.
Connecting to GCS
You can create a connection to GCS from the Data Services preferences page.
The public GCS server hosted by Ansys has been deactivated. If you have a local version of the GCS server, it will still work with STK.
