Multi-Track Object - Modify Track Data

The Modify Track Data dialog is used to define a track selected in the Tracks table in a Multi-Track Object. If multiple tracks are selected at once, only the Name and Interpolate Position fields are available for editing.

The Points Table

The Points table lists the points defined for the selected track. Double-click any of the fields to edit the contents.

Field Description
Time Indicates the time at which the point occurs.
Latitude Indicates the latitude of the point.
Longitude Indicates the longitude of the point.
Altitude Indicates the altitude of the point.

Defining Tracks

The Modify Tracks panel includes a number of buttons and fields for working with tracks.

Button Description
Insert Point Click to add a new point to the Points table.
Delete Click to delete the selected point.
Load File... Click to browse to an ephemeris file (*.e) and load it to populate the Points table. All existing data will be removed from the table.

Other Information

Field Description
Track Displays the Id of the selected track.
Name Enter a name for the track, which can be displayed in the 2D and 3D Graphics windows with the track marker.
Interpolate Position Enable to interpolate the track's position between each defined point. The track's marker and label position will be linearly interpolated between the track points for the current animation time. If disabled, the track's marker and label will be displayed at the point with the closest previous time to the current animation time.
