Chain Analysis Options

The Chain Analysis options are used for an object that is included in a Chain when the optimal strand metric is computed for the Chain and the metric is set. The two options are Processing Delay or Data Rate. See the Chains Optimal Strand settings for more information as to how this value is used.

Option	Description
Delay Time	Delay time value is used for an object when a Chain is set to compute the optimal strand metric based on processing delay.
Data Rate	Data rate value is used for an object when a Chain is set to compute the optimal strand metric based on Data Rate. This value cannot be set for Transmitters because the Transmitter object has a data rate value set on the Basic - Definition page in the Transmitter's properties.
