2D Graphics Attributes for Custom Intervals

Select the Custom Intervals radio button tab to control graphics during selected time intervals. The specification of time intervals affects only the graphical display of the object; it does not affect access computations.

Add, modify, and remove custom time intervals

Click Add... to define a new interval for graphics display purposes. An Intervals dialog box will appear, in which you can specify Start and End Times for the interval and select the desired graphics attributes. For more information on the options available for start and stop times, see Time Options. Click OK to add the newly defined interval to the list.

To modify the graphics attributes for an existing interval, edit the settings for each interval as desired. Click More... to expose additional attributes.

To remove an interval from the list, select it and click Remove.

To remove all intervals from the list, click Remove All.

Load custom interval data

To use interval data from an external file, click Load... and choose an interval list file (*.int). STK then uses interval times in the file as the display times for the object.

Import custom interval data

To import STK Analysis Workbench Time Tool interval component data, click Import... and select or create a time interval component. STK then uses the imported component's interval times as the display times for the graphics.

Deconflict

Deconflict options are the same for defining Custom Intervals as they are for defining object and 3D Graphics Display Times.

Show Flag Affects Individual Intervals Only

If you select the Show Flag Affects Individual Intervals Only check box, and you have multiple intervals and one of them has Show disabled, there will be a gap in the flight path/orbit/track where that interval is located. If you animate through that gap, graphics for the other intervals will still appear.

If you clear this check box, and you have multiple intervals and one of them has Show disabled, the graphics will now appear for that interval (no gap), but when you animate through that interval, the entire flight path/orbit/track disappears.

Label

If you select the Use Instance Name as Label check box, then STK will apply the Object Browser name as a label for the object in the 2D Graphics window. If you clear the check box, you can assign any name as a 2D Graphics label.

Modify graphics interval

You can modify any of the graphics for a particular interval of an object's path. You can learn more about these options on the 2D Graphics Attributes help page.
