Displaying & Formatting Axes for Perspective & Orthographic Projections
If you selected an Orthographic or Perspective Projection Type, turn on the Show Axes option to show the X, Y and Z axes for that view. To change the appearance of the axes in the 2D Graphics window, click the Format... button to the right of the Show Axes option.
Options for displaying axes in the 2D Graphics window

The color of the axis when displayed in the 2D Graphics window. |
| Scale |
The relative size of the axis as displayed in the 2D Graphics window. |
| Coordinate Frame |
The coordinate frame in which all axes display in the 2D Graphics window. This frame may be different from the frame in which the actual Map projection displays. |
| Secondary Body |
If the Coordinate Frame is set to BBR, choose the secondary body to be used as a reference. |
