Graph Layout Properties

Layout properties control the general display options for a static graph or strip chart graph. The options available will depend on the data providers in the selected graph style.

Options	Description
Title	The title displayed at the top of the graph. The title cannot exceed one line of text, including spaces and punctuation.
Title Options	Current Date - Displays the current date at the top of the graph. Object Name - Displays the name of the object(s) for which the graph is generated at the top of the graph.
Legend	Hide - The graph legend does not display in the Graph window. Show - Displays the graph legend in the lower portion of the Graph window. Hide if more than <number> Entries - Displays the graph legend only if the number of entries is less than the number specified.
Point Labels	Use - Includes point labels in the graph display. Label Frequency - Specifies the frequency of the display of labels in the graph window. (Only available if the Use option is selected.)
Invert Graph Axes	Select this option to invert the graph axes, which results in the X Axis values increasing from right to left, and the Y Axis values increasing from top to bottom. Note that this option is only available for the XY Graph Type.
X Axis Labels Orientation	Horizontal - Display X Axis labels horizontally in the graph window. Vertical - Display X Axis labels vertically in the graph window.
Grid Lines	Vertical Grid Lines - Select to display vertical grid lines in the graph window. Horizontal Grid Lines - Select to display horizontal grid lines in the graph window.
Day Lines	When displayed day lines appear at the start of each day (e.g. 5 Sep 2009 00:00:00.000). Hide Day Lines and Labels - Select to hide day lines and labels in the graph window. Show Day Lines and Labels - Select to display day lines and labels in the graph window. Show Day Lines only - Select to display only day lines in the graph window.
Show Grid Background Bands	Selecting this option displays alternating light gray and white horizontal bars on Time XY, XY, and Interval graph types. This option is enabled by default.
Line Annotations	Show Animation Time Line - Select to display a time line that tracks the current time across the graph when the scenario is animated. Use the drop-down color palette to select the time line color. Show Y Axis Labels - Select to display Y axis labels as part of the graph style.
Y Axis Limits	Specify the minimum and maximum Y Axis limits.
Y2 Axis Limits	Specify the minimum and maximum Y2 Axis limits.
Strip Chart Duration	The duration of the data to be plotted in the Strip Chart window. For instance, if you entered a Duration of 60 minutes, an hour of data is plotted in the Chart.
Strip Chart Real Time	Select Real Time to animate the strip chart in real time.
