Report Style: Swath Points
The location of the object's horizon on the central body surface that is to the side of the motion of the object, reported as left and right horizon points over time. The left horizon point is on the left side of the horizontal component of velocity vector, where the velocity vector is measured as observed from the object's central body fixed coordinate system. The horizontal component is that component not along the detic zenith of the object. The right horizon point is on the right side. For the Ground Elevation Envelope or Vehicle Half Angle Envelope swath types, the left/right swath point may not exist. If it does not, the point being reported at that time uses the Ground Elevation or Vehicle Half Angle swath setting as appropriate.

Column Listing for Line 1
Group:Left SwathColumn | Column Name | Element | Type | Dimension | Description |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Time | Time | Real Number or Text | Date | Time. |
2 | Left Swath-Lat | Lat | Real Number or Text | Latitude | The detic latitude (i.e., angle between the detic subpoint's surface normal vector and the XY plane.). |
3 | Left Swath-Lon | Lon | Real Number or Text | Longitude | The detic longitude (i.e., angle from the X-axis locating the projection of the detic subpoint's surface normal vector onto the XY plane.) Longitude increases in the direction found using the right-hand rule about the Z-axis. |
4 | Left Swath-Rad | Rad | Real Number | Distance | The radius value (i.e. magnitude of the position vector). |
5 | Left Swath-Elevation | Elevation | Real Number or Text | Angle | Angle between the velocity vector and the local horizontal plane. The velocity vector is the velocity of the object, as observed in the object's central body fixed coordinate system. |
6 | Left Swath-Half_Angle | Half Angle | Real Number or Text | Angle | The angle between the surface normal at the detic subpoint of the object and the relative position between the object and swath point. |
7 | Left Swath-Distance | Distance | Real Number | Distance | Distance between the center of the reference plane and the projection of the selected point onto the reference plane. |

Group:Right SwathColumn | Column Name | Element | Type | Dimension | Description |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Right Swath-Lat | Lat | Real Number or Text | Latitude | The detic latitude (i.e., angle between the detic subpoint's surface normal vector and the XY plane.). |
2 | Right Swath-Lon | Lon | Real Number or Text | Longitude | The detic longitude (i.e., angle from the X-axis locating the projection of the detic subpoint's surface normal vector onto the XY plane.) Longitude increases in the direction found using the right-hand rule about the Z-axis. |
3 | Right Swath-Rad | Rad | Real Number | Distance | The radius value (i.e. magnitude of the position vector). |
4 | Right Swath-Elevation | Elevation | Real Number or Text | Angle | Angle between the velocity vector and the local horizontal plane. The velocity vector is the velocity of the object, as observed in the object's central body fixed coordinate system. |
5 | Right Swath-Half_Angle | Half Angle | Real Number or Text | Angle | The angle between the surface normal at the detic subpoint of the object and the relative position between the object and swath point. |
6 | Right Swath-Distance | Distance | Real Number | Distance | Distance between the center of the reference plane and the projection of the selected point onto the reference plane. |
