Column Listing
| Column | Column Name | Element | Type | Dimension | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Start Time | Start Time | Real Number or Text | Date | Beginning of an interval. |
| 2 | Stop Time | Stop Time | Real Number or Text | Date | End of an interval. |
| 3 | Duration | Duration | Real Number | Time | The duration of the interval. |
| 4 | Obstruction | Obstruction | Text | Unitless | Name of the obstructing central body. |
| 5 | Current Condition | Current Condition | Text | Unitless | Type of eclipsing event (Penumbra or Umbra) bounded by the start and stop times. |
| 6 | Worst Condition | Worst Condition | Text | Unitless | Maximum eclipse condition within the contiguous time period of partial illumination which contains the current interval. The contiguous time period of partial illumination may contain abutting and/or overlapping eclipse intervals from one or more eclipsing bodies. The worst condition may result from an eclipsing body different from the one associated with the current interval. For example, a period of penumbra due to the moon which has no associated period of umbra may overlap with a period of umbra due to the Earth and therefore report a worst condition of umbra. Useful for determining if a reported penumbra period leads to or follows an umbra period for the typical case of only Earth eclipsing. |
| 7 | Total Duration | Total Duration | Real Number | Time | Total duration of the contiguous time period of partial illumination which contains the current interval. The contiguous time period of partial illumination may contain abutting and/or overlapping eclipse intervals from one or more eclipsing bodies. For the typical case of eclipsing by only the Earth, this represents the duration of the abutted penumbra-umbra-penumbra intervals. |
