Report Style: Eclipse Summary
Provides summary information for each eclipse. Note that the Eclipse Summary data provider reports the start and stop times of penumbra which, if umbra exists, occur before and after umbra, respectively. This means that if the Eclipse Summary is generated in cases when it starts in umbra, then the start of penumbra is reported as "No Data" because it occurred prior to the start of reported data.Data Provider:Eclipse Summary
Type: Interval data. Intended to be used only with elements from this same data provider.

Column Listing
Column | Column Name | Element | Type | Dimension | Description |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Penumbra Start Time | Penumbra Start Time | Real Number or Text | Date | Start time of an available interval. |
2 | Umbra Start Time | Umbra Start Time | Real Number or Text | Date | Start time of an available interval. |
3 | Umbra Stop Time | Umbra Stop Time | Real Number or Text | Date | Stop time of an available interval. |
4 | Penumbra Stop Time | Penumbra Stop Time | Real Number or Text | Date | Stop time of an available interval. |
5 | Obstruction | Obstruction | Text | Unitless | Name of the obstructing central body. |
6 | Duration | Total Duration | Real Number | Time | Total duration of the contiguous time period of partial illumination which contains the current interval. The contiguous time period of partial illumination may contain abutting and/or overlapping eclipse intervals from one or more eclipsing bodies. For the typical case of eclipsing by only the Earth, this represents the duration of the abutted penumbra-umbra-penumbra intervals. |
7 | Max Percent Shadow | Max Percent Shadow | Real Number | Unitless | One minus the minimum solar intensity, expressed as a percentage. |
8 | Time of Max Shadow | Time at Min Intensity | Real Number or Text | Date | The time at which the minimum solar intensity is reached. |
