Targeting Data
Reports several range measures of the relative position between the objects. Several measures use the From object's reference plane, defined as the plane containing the position vector of the From object and its velocity vector measured with respect to the From object's central body fixed system. While allowed, the data obtained when the From object is not moving is not informative.

Name | Dimension | Type | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Access Number | Unitless | Integer | A count of the intervals. |
Time | Date | Real Number or Text | Time. |
InTrackRange | Distance | Real Number | An approximation of the (signed) surface distance between the centric subpoint of the From object to the projection of the target object's centric subpoint to the From object's reference plane. |
SlantRange | Distance | Real Number | The range between the two objects accounting for light-time delay as configured for the access. |
CrossTrackRange | Distance | Real Number | An approximation to the (signed) surface distance between the target object's centric subpoint and the From object's reference plane. |
GroundRange | Distance | Real Number | An approximation of the surface distance between the centric subpoints of the two objects. |
SquintAngle | Angle | Real Number or Text | The angle between the direction to the target object's centric subpoint (computed from the vector defined by the centric subpoint of the From object to the centric subpoint of the target object) and the From object's reference plane. |
