HasCyclicDependency Method (IAgCrdnVectorRefTo)
See Also  Example
Vector
Specify a valid vector.

Description

Tests whether the input component and the target component form a cyclic dependency.

Syntax

[Visual Basic .NET]
Public Function HasCyclicDependency( _
   ByVal Vector As IAgCrdnVector _
) As Boolean

[C#]
public bool HasCyclicDependency(
IAgCrdnVector Vector
);

[Managed C++]
public: bool HasCyclicDependency(
IAgCrdnVector ^ Vector
);

[Java]
public bool hasCyclicDependency(
IAgCrdnVector Vector
);

[Unmanaged C++]
public: HRESULT HasCyclicDependency(
IAgCrdnVector * Vector,
VARIANT_BOOL * ReturnValue
);

Parameters

Vector
Specify a valid vector.

Example

Check whether the reference vector has a cyclic dependency on another vector.
[C#] Copy Code
//Check if the reference vector has a cyclic dependency on another vector.
if (vectorRefTo.HasCyclicDependency(vector))

    Console.WriteLine("The vector {0} has a cyclic dependency on vector {1}.", ((IAgCrdn)vectorRefTo.GetVector()).Name, ((IAgCrdn)vector).Name);

Check whether the reference vector has a cyclic dependency on another vector.
[Visual Basic .NET] Copy Code
'Check if the reference vector has a cyclic dependency on another vector.
If vectorRefTo.HasCyclicDependency(vector) Then
    Console.WriteLine("The vector {0} has a cyclic dependency on vector {1}.", DirectCast(vectorRefTo.GetVector(), IAgCrdn).Name, DirectCast(vector, IAgCrdn).Name)
End If
