Display the subsolar point during animation
Lighting <ScenarioPath> SubSolarPoint {DisplayOption} <Value> [<DisplayOption2> <Value2>...]
The Lighting SubSolarPoint command allows you to display the point on the Earth directly below the Sun, or subsolar point. Valid values for {DisplayOption} are:
Hint: {DisplayOptions} can be strung together to set multiple values at once.
{DisplayOption} | <Value> | Description |
---|---|---|
Show | On | Display the subsolar point in the 2D Graphics window. |
Off | Do not display the subsolar point. | |
Color | {Color} | Specify the color of the subsolar point. For valid {Color} options see Common Options. |
Marker | {Parameters} | Set the Marker for the point. Visit Connect help for the Graphics Marker command for a description of parameters. |
WindowID | <WinNumber> | Enter the number of the 3D window to which the changes should be applied. If no 2D Graphics window is specified, Connect displays the subsolar point in all 2D Graphics windows. |
Mark the subsolar point on 2D Graphics window 1 using a red square:
Lighting * SubSolarPoint Show On Color Red Marker Square WindowID 1
Display the subsolar point in all 2D Graphics windows:
Lighting * SubSolarPoint Show On
Mark the subsolar point in red in all 2D Graphics windows:
Lighting * SubSolarPoint Show On Color red
If activated, Connect returns an acknowledgement message.
